The planning for this project was complicated as, at all stages, both building regulations and the London Plan had to be considered. This corner plot faced two completely different styles of road and facades had to be in keeping with each. There was also a stepped level, fire regulations and basement space to consider. With extension and excavation, we completed flats and basement storage space that overcame all difficulties whilst retaining all the original characteristics of the original building.
